At Rebuild Fellowship, we understand that everybody gets lost at some point; no one is perfect, and this world is full of temptations that lead one to commit a sin that separates them from God. However, we also believe that individuals who lose their way can be brought back to the right path and that they can be renewed and rebuilt with the right guidance and message.

This is what we aim to do at Rebuild Fellowship. We want to bring people together, to set them back on the right path toward God, and we want to spread the Word of the Lord to inspire and provide strength to those who require guidance. We understand that you have questions, and with our ministry, we aim to provide you with the answers you seek through His words.

Question: How can I be saved?
Answer: The question may sound simple, but it is incredibly profound and may be one of the most important questions you can ask. Those who are asking “How can I be saved?” may be thinking of how they can be saved, even after their lives in this world are over. To answer this question, the Bible is quite clear on how a person may be saved. The Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30). Paul and Silas responded, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).

How can I be saved? Why do I need to be saved?
We are all infected with sin (Romans 3:23). We are born with sin (Psalm 51:5), and we all personally choose to sin (Ecclesiastes 7:20; 1 John 1:8). Sin separates us from God, and it is the one that sets us on our path to eternal destruction.

How can I be saved? What do I need saving from?
Because of our sin, we all deserve death (Romans 6:23). Sin can result in different kinds of death – physical, emotional, and spiritual. All sin is ultimately committed against an eternal and infinite God (Psalm 51:4). Due to that, we are penalized for our sins infinitely and eternally. What we need to be saved from is eternal destruction (Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:15).

Is there a way to save me? How did God provide redemption?
Because we are penalized for our sins infinitely and eternally, only God can pay the penalty because He is the only one who is eternal and infinite. However, God is not human – he is divine and cannot die, which is why He became a human being in the form of Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ, God became human flesh, and he lived among us and taught us. However, people rejected Him and His message, and they even wanted to kill Him. To save us, He willingly sacrificed Himself for our sins, and he allowed Himself to be crucified (John 10:15). Jesus Christ was human, and it was possible for Him to die; and since Jesus Christ was God, His death was the infinite and eternal payment that was made for our sins. Jesus’ death on the cross was the perfect and complete payment for our sins (1 John 2:2). Jesus Christ carried the consequences that we deserved for the sins that we have committed; however, His resurrection also shows that His death was the sufficient sacrifice for our sins.

How can I be saved? What can I do to be saved?
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). God has already completed all of the work. All you must do is receive, in faith, the salvation that God offers (Ephesians 2:8-9). Trust fully in Jesus alone as the payment for your sins. Believe in Him, and you will not perish (John 3:16). God is offering you salvation as a gift. All you have to do is accept it. Jesus is the way of salvation (John 14:6).
